Hi,
i wanted to create a contrast between organic and non-organic forms, keeping everything very basic to concentrate on pose, deformation and clean lighting.

The scene is lit with MRs lume shader and a second
area light coming from the front. I used final gather
with high quality and resolution settings, so rendertime
was about 8 hours.

This started as a test for some modeling and
rendering ideas i had for quite a while...
So i finally threw it all together and while
it developed, added some traditional styles
that would fit the overall look and her facial
expression.
